Query on Unexpected Trap while executing RTEMS on Leon3

Hi,
I am trying to check if the leon3 board is connected to the internet when plugged in via Ethernet.
I am encountering an
 Unexpected trap (43) at address 0x4001221C
error.
 
I am calling the gethostbyName method. Will I need to create an rtems task and obtain the rtems_bsdnet_semaphore for the task
 
How can I get over this or how do I approach the problem?
