Fwd: [patch 1/9] Nios II port, top-level configury

Hello,

the Nios II port is now fully integrated in the FSF Binutils.  I had to fix 
some minor issues (e.g. missing instructions) but now it is possible to 
assemble and link all tests for the nios_iss BSP (with the GCC distributed by 
Altera).

The Nios II port is available in the latest Binutils snapshot:

This Binutils version works also on 64-bit hosts (the one distributed by Altera 
works only on 32-bit hosts).
