Source builder and the Mac

I've been setting up rems 4.11 for arm on a Mac that hasn't had much installed previously. I'm following the instructions in source-builder to put it all together.

First, I grabbed the current Xcode and installed the command line tools.

When I ran sb-check, it choked on cvs not existing, so I used macports which picked up CVS 1.11.23. On my MacBook, where things were going a bit more smoothly, somehow I picked up CVS 1.12.13.

Things continue slightly better but sb-set-builder starts putting things together and then the "doit" command bombs somewhere in the bowels of config.status executing default commands.

After much messing around I start to suspect that Xcode 5.0 isn't supporting some of the command line tools that are expected.

I uninstall Xcode 5.0 and find out how to remove the command line tools, get rid of cvs, figure out how to download and install Xcode 4.6.3, reinstall the command line tools, and RTEMS starts building properly (openocd too!).

So, apparently Xcode 5.0 is not compatible with source-builder for Mac.

Thanks,
Andrei
