Great.

I have committed the fix so building with RTEMS is working again and 
nesting ifs is working.

I have switched the default mode for the 4.11 tools so RTEMS is not 
built by default. You now need to add --with-rtems to have RTEMS built.

Finally I have updated gdb to gdb-7.6.1 for all architectures. I am 
waiting for Sebastian's atomic patch to be committed to newlib before I 
update the newlib checkout date.
