Resetting Eclipse C compiler choice

Hi there,
I’m using Eclipse on a Mac (hey no snickers, it’s a BSD box) and it was working nicely, using arm-rtems4.11-gcc to do compiles, but it was getting a bit out of date.
I grabbed the latest source builder distribution and reinstalled RTEMS tools from scratch.
Suddenly Eclipse is using “gcc” to do compiles, which doesn’t exist.
I tried munging the make files, but they get rebuilt every time you do a build.
I tried munging the .cproject file, but it gets rebuilt every time you do a build.
I tried munging the eclipse project preferences C/C++ Build/Settings/Tool Settings/RTEMS C Compiler/Command, but it gets reset on Apply.
There are no automake files to deal with.
Log off/on reboot doesn’t do it either.
Arrg.
What is the magic spell that I have to use to reset the compiler name prefix?
Thanks a lot,
Andrei from the Great White North
