Even though the 4.12 directory was created, it sounds like you have only
made 4.11 toolset? You should be certain that you are on the 4.11 branches
of all git repos (rtems-source-builder, rtems.git).

the message with /opt/rtems-4.12/bin/gcc seems a bit strange. We don't
usually see plain gcc installed into a location where RTEMS tools and OS
libs are installed.
