RTEMS Source Build error

I believe you need zlib.h not just for the cross tools you are building, but for your build system too. Maybe try doing “dpkg -l zlib1g-dev” or “dpkg -l | grep “zlib” and look for “zlib1g-dev”? If you don’t have it, but need it, the link provided by Joel will get you what you need.

Hello,
I'm trying to use the RTEMS Source builder for building the tool package for SPARC and ARM architectures. In both cases I get the same error:

../../gcc-6.3.0/gcc/lto-compress.c:34:18: fatal error: zlib.h: No such file or directory
 #include <zlib.h>

the sb-check reports that "RTEMS Source Builder environment is ok"

I'm using Linux Mint 17.2 with VirtualBox on Windows10 machine

Any help is highly appreciated
