Hello GSoC and GCI Participants!

We are excited to announce a few more meetups for this October in APAC.
These events will be small and intimate dinners - space is *very* limited.

All of the events below are open to the following participants (ages 18 and
over) that have been a part of the programs anytime over the last 13 years:

   - GSoC students (those that passed the program)
   - GSoC mentors and org admins
   - GCI mentors
   - GCI winners

The deadline to register for these dinners is *Monday, October 9th*:

We will send confirmation details with the exact restaurant locations and
timing of the Seoul, Taipei, Tokyo, and Sydney dinners by October 11th
based on a first come, first serve basis. Be sure to sign up right away -
space is very limited for these events!
November meetups:As we mentioned a few weeks ago the New York City and
Munich events will be larger events held at the local Google offices.

   - Tuesday, November 7: New York City, USA 5:30-8:30pm
   Please join us in New York City (Manhattan - Chelsea neighborhood) for a
   GSoC meetup complete with dinner at the Google office. *Space is

   - Tuesday, November 14: Munich, Germany 5:30-8:30pm

Events coming in early 2018:We are still working out the exact location and
dates for event cities below but we’ll be visiting very soon! More details
and registration forms will be sent later this year with exact dates and
locations for the following cities:

   - *Sydney, Australia:* a larger event sometime during LCA (week of
   January 22-26)
   - *Brussels, Belgium:* An event sometime during (or before) FOSDEM
   (February 3-4)
   - *Zurich, Switzerland:* Wednesday, February 7th, 2018 @ Google Zurich
   office

Please remember we are not offering any kind of travel assistance or
funding to attend these events (including issuing visa invitations). You
can speak directly with your org to see if they might be willing to
allocate part of their travel funds to you but that is entirely up to your
org.
