Hello everyone,
My project 'Memory Protection' has been selected for this year's GSoC
program. I am a third-year Electrical Engineering undergrad student at NIT
Silchar, Assam, India.
RTEMS deals with real-time embedded applications and supports
security-critical tasks, one of the features RTEMS does not support as of
yet is a robust thread stack protection mechanism. This can be achieved
through memory management/protection unit hardware that most of the modern
processors support. My project will be to provide user-configurable thread
stack protection in RTEMS for ARM and RISC-V architecture.
I am excited to work on this project, interact with a great community, and
hope for a great productive summer!

Regards,
Utkarsh Rai.
