I am glad to hear this. Hopefully this will resolve the copyright/licensing
issue Mimicking/copying the API isn't a problem nor is your works being
"inspired by the glibc implementation. Actually, Joel and I tried to compare
your work against the glibc-implementation trying to reach a conclusion if
including your works into RTEMS would violate the glibc's licensing, but we
remained uncertain.

I will try to review your works ASAP (hopefully this weekend).

Also, let me use this point in time to emphasize that the licensing issue
should not irritate you about your GSOC project.
