And another observation:
In those testsuites-tests which issue "spurious irq7" messages, the first
"spurious interrupt: 7" message occurs before printing the first line of the
test.
I.e. screen of these tests usually look like:
--- snip ---
spurious interrupt: 7
*** TEST XXX ... ***
...
*** END OF TEST .... ***
...
EXCECUTIVE SHUTDOWN! Any key to reboot...

Combining this with my previous observation on
CONFIGURE_APPLICATION_NEEDS_CLOCK_DRIVER
makes me think something might be broken/wrong related to clock driver
initialization or with the pc386's BSPs clock driver itself.
