Hmm maybe it is opposite, the BSPs share the MMU config but different `linkcmd` files which could make the unresolved symbols. If it is a conditional define might work? 

Sorry I would need @opticron to comment because I have never built the 32bit BSP and I will never use it. @joel explained the reasons for it but I cannot remember.
