Part of this move is to _isolate_ the headers as they should not be globally available if a file doesn't build for powerpc then that file would have to be included in the uuid "library" build. Making everything globally available because one header wasn't working doesn't make sense at all to me.
Is there a reason why these need to be globally available so far you've shown one example where one header mattered. Trying to understand why we require this.
