## Summary
@joel has spent quite a bit of time recently resolving warnings after they were brought to light by some of those warnings being converted to errors by GCC 14/15.

It would be nice if people that are submitting MRs fix these as they're being added instead of having to find them later. This issue is to add a global configuration option that adds -Werror by default and which can be disabled by this this global option: `DISABLE_WERROR`.
