Upcoming Plan for GSoC Project till Midterm (next 4 weeks)

A. Week 4-5 (Jun 12, 2025 - Jun 25, 2025)

1. Complete Initialization of GRETH Driver
   1. This includes the memory mapping for the driver, creating appropriate header files for Ethernet MAC
   2. Ensuring code for GRETH Hardware Initialization is ready
   3. Ensure methods for autonegotiation configuartion of link parameters, etc. are completed
   4. Ensuring all interrupt handlers, buffer descriptors and other required things for initialization are ready
2. Ensure simulator is working, atleast for GRETH Legacy Networking Driver
3. Plan out how to utilize the simulator for GRETH lwIP Driver for testing

B. Week 6-7 (Jun 26, 2025 - Jul 9, 2025)

1. Complete code for packet transmission mechanism for GRETH lwIP Driver
2. Discuss with mentors how to test packet transmission mechanism e.g. how tests can be written for checking this
3. Ensure SIS simulator (if that's not working then some alternative) is working and ready for driver simulation
4. Implement Interrupt Handling Mechanisms for Packet Transmission

By midterm, I aim to have GRETH Driver initialized  and capable of packet transmission.
