This is good. Now we need a documentation patch to add this directive in the Classic API guide, preferably generated from RTEMS Central. I'm not sure if that's actually working at the moment: see https://gitlab.rtems.org/rtems/prequal/rtems-central/-/issues/5

It should get added in https://gitlab.rtems.org/rtems/docs/rtems-docs/-/tree/main/c-user/barrier?ref_type=heads
