@joel   I actually finished implementing this upstream! I submitted PR #172 (https://github.com/rurban/safeclib/pull/172) to the safeclib repository, which adds the `--disable-tests` flag along with our bare-metal test suite. Once the maintainer merges it, I'll update the RSB recipe in !287 to drop the `sed` hack.
