## Summary

The same version of spike is used on the 5, 6, and 7 branches. With recent host OS and compilers, it does not compile because it needs to explicitly include .

This patch [spike-1.1.0-add-cstdint.h.diff](/-/project/7/uploads/6bd4d0e18ccbb0e403ebea8d951359e4/spike-1.1.0-add-cstdint.h.diff) addresses the issue.

## Steps to reproduce

Build it with a recent host and compiler.
