The http://www.rtems.org/wiki/index.php/GoogleCodeInProjects#Finish_a_POSIX_API_Chapter would be entry-level documentation...
You would check out the rtems.git and be editing files in the rtems/tree/doc/posix_users directory...

Thanks for responding. I did mostly pthread and documentation work on
the GCI last year, but I've probably gotten a bit rusty. Do you have
anything that would be considered "entry level" or "intermediate"?
Documentation would be good.
