How many scheduler nodes are created at the time system starts?

Hi,

My code (link to the exact line here

adds all the scheduler nodes in a chain at the time of initialization.

Can someone please help me learn about the number of nodes that get
created? A reference to the code which creates those scheduler nodes would
be helpful.
