Looks like the Scan and GCC version issue should be fixed by the next
release.

Hi Joel,

Thank you for being an active member of the Coverity Scan community. GCC
10.0 support has been added to the latest version of Coverity (version
2020.09). We are planning an upgrade to Coverity Scan in November which
will utilize Coverity 2020.09.

We don’t have a firm release date yet, but we will be sending out an
announcement in the coming weeks.

Regards,

Matthew

Hi

I am from the RTEMS Project and we had been using gcc 7 until we cut a
release branch. I am in the process of moving our Scan runs to our master
which uses gcc 10. As best I can tell, gcc 10 is not supported by the
currently available binary (2019.03). Is this correct?

Details of me building gcc 7, 8, 9, and 10 based cross tool chains to
verify that all versions up to 10 worked with Scan are at
https://gcc.gnu.org/pipermail/gcc/2020-October/234073.html

.

Is this something that is going to be addressed in the upcoming upgrade?

Thanks.
