"Request for Guidance – Eager to Start Contributing to RTEMS and Learn for GSoC 2026"

Dear RTEMS Team,

My name is Saksham Upadhyay, and I am currently pursuing a B.Tech in
Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence) from BIT Durg,
India (2024–2027).

I am writing to express my strong interest in contributing to the RTEMS
Project. I have recently started exploring real-time operating systems, and
RTEMS deeply inspires me due to its maturity, active development, and use
in mission-critical environments.

I am truly passionate about low-level systems, real-time architecture, and
embedded programming. I am also preparing to apply for Google Summer of
Code (GSoC) 2026, and RTEMS is the project I genuinely want to work with.
That’s why I want to begin early – learning the internals, contributing to
small tasks, and becoming familiar with the development process
