  Hi Denis!,
          I think that you have a Hard Disk space problem, due to I installed the same GZ file without trouble. I saw the same messages when the HD is running out of space. I think that will need 40 or 50 MBytes free at least.

      Good Luck,
              Jose.

    All,
            I'm just starting to install rtems on a new Linux machine.

    I've managed to install the RPMs but I can't unpack the RTEMS source files due to what appears to be corruption in the archive.

    Here is what I get if I run tar in verbose mode

    <snippet>
    <...>
    rtems-4.5.0-beta3a/c/src/exec/score/cpu/powerpc/new_exception_processing/cpu.c

    tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now
    [root at Linuxbox_1 tools]#
    <end snippet>

    I've verified the size on the OAR site and it matches my archive

    [root at Linuxbox_1 tools]# ls -l ../archive/rtems-4.5.0-beta3a.tgz

    I am running redhat Linux 6.1 on a brand new machine.

    Any suggestions?
