MP3 chips or algorithms

I have loads of code that handles streaming MP3s via TCP/IP, buffering it,
and sending it to an ST Microelectronics STA013 (MP3 decoder that costs
about $6).  It's not in much condition to do a lot with (complicated and not
well documented), but we can talk (off-list) about what you need.
