_Watchdog_Ticks_since_boot

I've grep'd thru the code half a dozen times and couldn't find it so...

Does anyone know where exactly the variable _Watchdog_Ticks_since_boot
gets incremented???

I know it gets incremented by 1000 every second, but does it get incremented
by 1 a thousand times per second or does it get incremented by 10 one
hundred
times a second or...

If someone could point me to the appropriate .c file. Thanks.
