Which Linux for RTEMS

Hi,
  I want to install Suse Linux 7.2 and RTEMS on my laptop. 
  Will I be able to easily rebuild RTEMS?
  Or do you recommend specific Linux distributions.
I dont know what target you are using, but the m68k series
uses motorola's bdm debug port, however drivers for this 
only exist for the 2.2 kernel.

SuSE are not known for the portablity of there RPMS, but
you should have no problems on any system if you build 
from source.
