Which Linux for RTEMS

This topic is completely independent of particular distribution.

Right.

But this doesn't matter here, because RTEMS's RPMS are portable and
independent of any particular distribution.

To achive binary backward compatibility, the RTEMS's binary RPMS are
are build on an old RH-6.x system (glibc-2.0.x). Thus, rebuilding
RTEMS RPMs on any more recent Linux-distribution is a good idea in
general.
