cross compiler problem with mips-rtems

I did it,but it was almost 2 years ago :-)
It was egcs-1.1.2,binutils-2.9.1.
I just add little-endian target support - and that's all I did

I am using the latest snapshots but keep running into build errors.

I am also using configure and make.
