No.  The problem is centered around (1) the number of differences
between
newlib 1.8.2 and 1.9.0 and (1) that post 4.5 RTEMS now uses almost all 
generic/common newlib .h files.  With 1.8.2 and 4.5.0, we had RTEMS 
specific copies for a lot of .h files.  It was a significant amount
of work to eliminate this duplication.  I judged it not worth the
hassle to undo all the work to let 1.9.0 work with RTEMS 4.5.0.  Plus
the focus is on fixing what was there in 4.5.0 and this would constitute
a big change in the source for target executables.

If someone else wants to invest the effort in a 4.5.1 patch for
newlib 1.9.0, I will review it and crank the tools.
