How to start RTEMS monitor?

Hi,

I would like to learn a bit more about the RTEMS monitor.
Therefore I wrote a normal Init(...) - methode and called:
rtems_monitor_init(0);

I saw that the instruction was executed while debugging.
But nothing happend. It seems that this line was ignored.
A call to rtems_monitor_wakeup() changed nothing on the
behaviour.

The compiler and linker doesn´t produce any errors.

Is there something special I have to do?
