Hi,

The mpc8260ads BSP currently uses -mcpu=8260 for optimization

GCC-3.0.4 refuses to take this option and complains about it:

Entering directory
`/users/rtems/src/rtems-cvs/build/ppc/powerpc-rtems/c/mpc8260ads/exec/score/src'
powerpc-rtems-gcc --pipe -B../../../../../lib/
-B../../../../../mpc8260ads/lib/ -specs bsp_specs -qrtems
-DHAVE_CONFIG_H -D__RTEMS_INSIDE__ -ansi -fasm -O4
-fno-keep-inline-functions -g -Wall -mcpu=8260 -mstrict-align -o
o-optimize/apiext.o -c
../../../../../../../../rtems.work/c/src/exec/score/src/apiext.c
cc1: bad value (8260) for -mcpu= switch
gmake[5]: *** [o-optimize/apiext.o] Error 1

Question: Which of the following options can be used as optimization
option for this bsp/CPU?

-mcpu=power
-mcpu=power2
-mcpu=power3
-mcpu=powerpc
-mcpu=powerpc64
-mcpu=rios
-mcpu=rios1
-mcpu=rsc

-mcpu=740
-mcpu=750
-mcpu=801

TIA,

Ralf
