dirent struct

Hello,

I want to use the t_type member of the dirent struct returned from readdir() to find out if the actual dir entry is a subdir or a plain file. First t_type is not available but rec_len and the value is always the same independant of entry type. Is this currect behaviour?

Is there an other way to find out if a readdir returned a file or a dir?
