I am a beginner

Hello, all

I am a beginner in developing RTEMS. I just want to use this OS in motorola COLDFIRE MFC5307,. Unfortunately, I have no experience in developing under the Linux. I feel so bad, I just don't know how to begin. Howevery, one of my cooperator tell me how to build an environment by RTEMS's On-Line Library.
Can someone tell me how can I transplant and tailor this OS? Or tell me at least which files should I modify, so that I can use it in MFC5307.
