Yes, it IS fixed.

Did you configure with --enable-cxx?
Do you have the target c++-compiler installed?
Did you forget to pass VARIANT=debug when running make install?

# <path>/configure --enable-cxx --target=sparc-rtems
# make RTEMS_BSP=erc32 VARIANT=debug DESTDIR=/tmp/foo install

# find /tmp/foo -name 'librtems*.a'

> I get no *_g.rel files placed in my lib directory.
