4.6pre1, make VARIANT=DEBUG, no librtems++_g.a

Did this ever get fixed? I seem to get this same behavior with rtems-ss-20030417.

I get no *_g.rel files placed in my lib directory.

What was the fix, if made, so that I can confirm that it is applied in the snapshot?
