Even more stupid questions

I think there's a bug in the docs at:

The header file shows that there are three args, not two.  I also can not
explain why the documentation shows an extra parens.


Is there a recommended reading list to effectively get started with RTEMS?
I'm tripping over stuff like the "MANAGERS=" line in the makefile--I've not
run across any docs on it, but I learned the hard way that the timer
manager don't go unless timer is in that list.
