Once the BIOS has the list of devices which support interrupt 13 block 
access, you have to pick the order to try to boot.
That is BIOS specific, but for most PC style machines, that means you have 
to have a keyboard and monitor connected (or serial terminal if serial 
console is supported by the BIOS), and you hit some key during power up to 
cause the BIOS to jump into a configuration program instead of booting.  
Usually there will be some kind of menu system, and you find the entry for 
boot order and select which device should be primary boot.
