I had and still am having problems in building gcc-3.2.2 for the
linux->solaris cross-toolchain.

[Joel reported not to have this problems ;)]

Well, meanwhile I can reduce the linux->solaris5.7 problem to one single
problem, but have not found a work-around to this particular problem,
yet.

Anyway, this should not have any impact on linux->rtems toolchains.

Well, I have your *try0.diff, had tried it once or twice for random
target-cpus, but have not systematically built rpms with it.

I also have a patch to arm-rtems-gcc pending, but this still requires
several iterations of building before it can be merged.

I'd say, go ahead with whatever you have - As my pending patch only
affects the arm, we could easily replace arm-rtems-gcc later.
