About newlib

Hello dear rtems-users,
I wondered if I needed to patch the cvs-version of newlib. Do I have to or may
compile my toolchain directly ? FYI, I already built a complete i386-rtems
toolchain (C, C++, Ada) with the cvs-version without modification on a FreeBSD
box and ran simple hello_world tests with it.
