IMO, it would be appropriate for you to report this issue to the
binutils' list (binutils at sourceware.org) to have upstream a look at it.

I don't know which OS you are using, but I am inclined to consider this
to be a host-specific (cygwin/mingw?) bug in the objdump you are using.
