Hello Chris,

in the directory http://www.rtems.org/ftp/pub/rtems/4.9.0/contrib/

I do not see the path that you indicate (crossrpms/patches) ...

In the directory http://www.rtems.org/ftp/pub/rtems/SOURCES/4.9/

I DO see several relevant looking patches such as:

newlib-1.16.0-rtems4.9-20071220.diff 05-Feb-2008 14:48 30K
newlib-1.16.0-rtems4.9-20080131.diff 05-Feb-2008 14:48 33K
newlib-1.16.0-rtems4.9-20080302.diff 03-Mar-2008 01:40 53K
newlib-1.16.0-rtems4.9-20080430.diff 09-Jun-2008 03:24 55K
newlib-1.16.0-rtems4.9-20080827.diff 03-Sep-2008 17:49 33K

The question is do I apply ALL or SOME of the patches. Please advise.

Regards,
Amalaye Oyake

The patches are in the 4.9.0 release under 'contrib/crossrpms/patches'.
