Seemed you miss Matt's mail below.
A configurable GUI is one of the biggest obstacles that prevent new
user using RTEMS. Although I was the people logging this into wish
list for release 4.8, I really do not have enough bandwidth to do
this. NutOS has successfully port the configuration GUI from eCos2, so
it should not be a very hard job. However, we need to decide what to
put into the GUI, and how it offer interface to other like IDE of
eclipse.
Python an wx will be a good start point because
(1)	eCos also use wx
(2)	portable to all platform

Hello,

I am a student very interested in wokring on one of the rtems SoC
projects this summer. I think that the Eclipse integration, the
Application Configuration GUI, and the tinyRTEMS projects look like
they could be interesting to work on. I read on the wiki that Alain
Schaefer wanted to mentor for the Eclipse project and application
config GUI. Does anyone know how I could get in contact with him to
discuss the projects?

Thanks,
Matt
