Several details of these instructions are broken and many details are
missing ...
As I already wrote, with Ubuntu you're basically on your own.
Don't get me wrong, this is no bad will, it's just an effect of
mefavoring rpm-based over deb-based Linux distros (I consider rpm
technically superior to deb) and my time being limited (Remember: I am
doing all this on a volunteer basis).
I recommend to re-use the CentOS5 rpms under Ubuntu/Debian.
