GCC needs to be installed for new installations

A couple of thoughts about the WIKI entry on GNU/Linux RPM APT/Yum Repository

I had the same problem with the failed dependancy at the first rpm -ivh of yum-conf step where the release needs to be installed first. Could someone please put the necessary command into the documentation? A few people have stumbled on that by following the instructions.

rpm -ivh rtems-4.10-release-0.20120919.0-1.el6.noarch.rpm

Second, you can get the "no acceptable C compiler found in $PATH" if the GCC compiler for the host operating system is not installed (like on a brand new install). My m68k-rtems4.10-gcc worked fine, but the configure step failed because linux's 'gcc' was not installed.

Who'd 'a thunk it?
