Intro in RTEMS

Hi

Is there any reference inside the RTEMS website and/or documentation saying
that it is a monolithic kernel, a set of libraries that is linked to the
application, etc?

I remember I've read this stuff somewhere, I just don't remember if it was
inside RTEMS's info resources.
