I would be happy with a ChangeLog in contrib/crossrpms that contains the 
few lines that was in the post by Ralf. I am happy to look at a 
reference I know exists and follow any leads, eg check newlib ChangeLog 
for details. I had attempted before now to not ask for anything specific 
and this is only a suggestion.
