Yes, in the previous patch set, which was related to the i386/pc686 family of BSPs, the linking succeeded.
This patch set is related to the x86_64/amd64 BSP which is only in a rudimentary state and unrelated to the i386 ones.
I don't expect any of the binaries to run given the current state of the amd64 BSP. I used it as a training to get familiar with the rtems-libbsd style of development.
