At some point is time to say `no' to toy tools :), serious people are
using emacs, make and cvs. It is usually sufficient up to medium size
projects (say, 10-30 developers), replace cvs with clearcase if your project 
is bigger than that.

So, the key is to learn a few emacs key-strokes.
