sure, for dedicated hardware console, why not?
use (delayed) vertical retrace interrupt for scheduling, put screen
redraws on an RTEMS timer, and use feedback via rate monotonic scheduler
to ensure maximum framerate.
sounds like fun to me. what is your target hardware?
