Error while building binutils

Hi,
I get the following error while building binutils on the  on Fedora core 
release 4.

../../binutils-2.13.2.1/gas/config/tc-m68k.h:227: error: array type has 
incomplete element type.

I guess this could be a problem with the gcc version 4.0.0.
Does any one have a fix to this.?

Binutils version 2.13.2.1
